Our Training Programs

Intrinsic offers structured workforce training pathways designed to prepare participants for skilled, paid employment in high-demand industries. Our programs combine hands-on occupational training, mentorship, and workplace readiness to support long-term career success. Cabinetmaking is our flagship apprenticeship pathway, supported by additional pre-apprenticeship and workforce training programs aligned with regional industry demand.

How it Works

Step 1: Show Up and Get Oriented

Every journey starts with orientation and readiness. Participants enter through community and workforce partners and are supported with clear expectations, structure, and the foundational stability needed to succeed in training and work environments.

Step 2: Learn the Core Workplace Skills

Before technical training, participants develop the core workplace skills that support long-term employment—communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, accountability, and professional self-management. These skills anchor success across industries.

Step 3: Train and Get Paid

Participants move into paid, hands-on training aligned with industry standards. Cabinetmaking is just one of Intrinsic’s apprenticeship pathways, offering a structured, paid training experience that builds job-ready skills, real work experience, and a strong employment foundation. Additional training pathways follow the same paid, competency-based model.

Step 4: Build Careers With Purpose

Graduates transition into employment with Intrinsic, partner employers, or industry-aligned firms. They leave with documented skills, work history, and the confidence to advance within skilled trades and high-demand industries.

Why Apprenticeship Matters

In a country where the trades are aging out fast, apprenticeship is the future.

50% more likely to achieve long-term employment success

Cabinetmakers are in high demand across the country

Intrinsic uses apprenticeship as a workforce strategy—not a one-size-fits-all program. Our model combines paid, hands-on training with structured mentorship and workplace readiness to prepare participants for careers across skilled trades and high-demand industries. Cabinetmaking is our flagship apprenticeship pathway, chosen for its strong labor demand and transferable skills. The same competency-based model supports additional pre-apprenticeship and training pathways aligned with regional workforce needs. Our focus is not just completion, but long-term employment, retention, and advancement.

Our Pre-Apprenticeship Training Pathways

At Intrinsic, we believe talent is everywhere—opportunity is not. Our pre-apprenticeship programs are designed to close that gap by meeting participants where they are and preparing them for entry into skilled careers across high-demand industries. All pre-apprenticeship pathways are competency-based, meaning participants advance by mastering skills rather than completing a fixed number of classroom hours. Programs are designed for completion in one year or less and align with employer expectations and apprenticeship standards.

Construction Labor Training
